The classification of our product falls under a class 5 building (10ft and custom 20ft) by majority of councils ( less than 24 square metres) therefore you will not need council approval because it is portable unlike shipping containers. From the rules and regulations the council cannot tell you to remove it. The rules and regulations will be listed in the next FAQ but we dont personally sell to subject council approval. As we dont want to sell anything that conflicts with the law. You may also take matters in your own hand and ask a certifier/town planner or architect for reassurance. Our larger designs including the Pod, Home and Villa will require council approval due to its sizes.

In 8 years we have had only 3 incidents.

1. Customer bought 2 to place on his property which exceeds the limit of 24 square metres. Council asked the person to remove one and keep one.

2. Customer placed it right against the fence. The neighbour complained to the council, council told the customer all they can do is ask to move it 900mm away from the fence.

3. Customer put a double sized bed inside. Neighbour complained to the council. Council asked to remove it as you are not allowed to live in, the town planner suggested to remove the bed to a sofa bed for entertainment not living purposes. Council approved.

   All these incidents had a solution when dealing with council.

If stock is available for Custom 10-20ft the process takes approximately 7-10 days to build and deliver. If stock is unavailable could take approximately 25-30 days. If our Pod, Home, Villas are in stock it takes approximately 8 hours to build and set up at your location. Pods/Home/Villas are currently only available in Sydney at the moment.

Step 3: We create a sketch/blueprint of the design and layout. Typically on the same day you reach out to Lecan.

Step 4: If you are happy with the design and sketch a Quote will be sent.

Step 5: After the deposit the building phase will start.

Step 6: Receive updates in the next few days

Step 7: Full payment and your design delivered.

All 7 steps are done in 7-10 days if stock is available.

The delivery service will involve a Hiab with a crane that can extend up to 6 meters if you have access to the location you would like to place your product, if not you will need to hire a local bigger crane. Our Delivery offers a Warranty on any damages during the delivery service. Delivery charges will vary depending on location. Just send us your address and we can get back to you with a quote. No warranty will be provided if you choose to go with your own delivery method as we will not be accountable for any of the damages during that process.

We make our products for neighbouring states but dont provide a delivery method for it interstate. The customer has to find there own delivery method for interstate with no warranty from us and we recommend you find a guaranteed method before we start building. Due to high demand we will be opening up in another state soon.

When you decide to purchase from us we require a 30% deposit for our standard range but if you require a very detailed customised layout a deposit of 60% will be required. Full payment required before delivery as per company policy.

We install a water proof power point dedicated circuit behind bathroom walls for hot water, your local plumber needs to just install the hot water and plug it in the power.

Usually we dont install AC on site because its a split unit on the wall, indoor and outdoor unit. During the delivery it my get damaged as it will exceed the limit on the truck and stick out. The best way to install the AC is locally as we already supply a dedicated circuit with an isolation switch you will not need to do any wiring internally. Your local installer will know what to do as we have prepared it all beforehand.

Sewerage and main connection is done on site, by your local plumber, you need to simply find out on your title drawing the location of the sewer before making an order. If you cant find the location your local plumber can search it online and find the location of your sewerage location. If you are located on an acreage and you don’t have a sewerage connection there is 2 options either use an underground septic tank which will require DA approval. Most of our customers dont use a septic tank they use a special composite toilet which does the treatment internally if you require this option we can give you details of suppliers after you order one and send it to us to install it for you.

If your floor is levelled and strong you will only need to put gravel underneath and 4 pavers on each corner to be levelled to place on top, all our products is 16mm compressed fibro (asbestos free) underneath not timber hence moisture wont effect it if its close to the floor. We give you the measurements and you can create a footing personally or via trade. If the land is not straight we suggest marking the land with a laser and making 4 corners with 5-6 inch pipes filled with concrete to then bolt on. If based locally we can provide a plumber to do the levelling and including the connection with a quotation.

When the order is ready you will be notified and updated with photos you are more than welcome to come down and view and inspect your order.

All the electrical wiring is Australian standard and delt with a licensed electrician. We also provide an electrical compliance certificate if requested.

We also can provide a quote for the main electrical connection when delivered.
